Are you searching for a place to live next fall? Want to be surrounded by a community of like-minded students who will motivate and encourage you in your studies? Looking to live on campus? You’re in luck! The Honors Program offers its members an opportunity to live in a community together through the Honors Affinity Housing application.

What does it mean to live in Honors Affinity Housing?

What are some benefits of choosing Honors Affinity Housing?

Students will live among other Honors students who are just as dedicated to their schoolwork as they are. Living in community with fellow Honors students creates a productive and beneficial environment, as students can work together in their studies. Being surrounded by others with this commonality allows for Honors students to get to know each other better and form friendships within the Honors program.

Where is the Honors Affinity Housing located?

Accepted students will be living in the Harborview Apartments, located on 210 West Sixth St.

Can a non-honors student live in Honors Affinity Housing if they are living with other Honors students?

An additional one person may reside with a group of accepted Honors students in the Honors Affinity Housing program. He or she does not need to fill out the Affinity Housing application, only those who are in Honors must. Please include the student’s name on the Affinity Housing application under the “Suitemates” section.

Applicants will be notified of their acceptance/denial before the general housing reapplication process begins in order to have time to make other arrangements if necessary.
